A book review of Robinson Crusoe

One of my favourite great book is Robinson Crusoe, by Daniel·Defoe. The story is set on an island which is no human survive but savage. It tells some exciting stories about a man who has many adventures.

Robinson, the hero of the book, born in a business family in England. He loves sailing, but his parents thoughtit is too dangerous for Robinson, so they didn’t allowed Robinsonto do it. The decisionhas no work.Robinsonhas snuck away and go sailing on his own. Unluckily, the boat he took encountered a storm and all of people on the boat were dead except Robinson. With his courage and wisdom, he lived on an uninhabited islandnearly 28 years. Finally he return to England and led many people to the island in order to let them settle here.

My favourite part of the book is whenRobinsonreach the island first time. At first, he felt fear and didn’tknow what to do. He thought about what he could eat, what he could drink, where he could sleep. Luckily, he remembered there maybe some living goods on the boat. Things on the boat were moved to the island by him. He used flour to make bread. He raised goats to get more meat to eat. He grew corn so that he would get more wheat to make bread. He even used a gun to hunt…It is hard to imagine he could survived here.

RobinsonCrusoeis a great book. It is more than an adventure story. It tells us we shouldn’t give up life easily. No matter what difficult we face, face it bravely! It is written by first person so you will feel much more real than other books. Today, it isstill read and loved by people all over the world. If you read it, I am sure you will fall in love with it.
