Chinese Spring Festival celebrates the end of winter and the warmth of spring. It begins in the last day of the lunar year, ends in the 15th day of lunar New Year, also is the Lantern Festival.
中國的春節慶祝冬天的結束和春天的溫暖。它始于農曆的最後一天,結束于農曆的第十五天,也是元宵節。
During the Spring Festival, people use red lantern and Spring Festival couplets to decorate the house, put on all kinds of colored clothes, often visit friends and relatives or eat dumplings, fish, meat and other delicious food together.
春節期間,人們用紅燈籠和春聯裝飾房屋,穿上各種顔色的衣服,經常拜訪朋友和親戚或一起吃餃子,魚,肉和其他美味的食物。
The children are looking forward to receiving red envelope money. They play fireworks together, very happy.

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people.

In the past, people could not often have meat, rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon.
在過去,人們不能經常有肉,米飯或其他美味的食物。他們隻能在春節期間吃這些。所以每年他們都希望春節快點到來。
Now, although people's life is much better, and we can eat the delicious foods everyday.People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday, and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family.
現在,雖然人們的生活更好,我們可以每天吃美味的食物。人們仍然喜歡這個節日。因為大多數人可以有一個很長的假期,我們可以自由旅行,拜訪我們的朋友或與我們的家人聚會。
In the evenings, we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programmes.
在晚上,我們可以在餐廳吃一頓大餐或待 在家裡和家人看電視節目。

(二)中秋
(1)
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It’s on the 15th of August. We can hang lanterns in the house.
中秋節是中國一個非常重要的節日。它在8月15日。我們可以在房子裡挂燈籠。
In the evening, we have a big dinner. Look, there is lots of food on the table. They are chicken, fish, crabs and so on. They’re very delicious.
在晚上,我們有一頓大餐。看,桌子上有很多食物。它們是雞、魚、蟹等等。它們很美味。
We can drink a glass of juice. We stand beside the table and we say, “Cheers, cheers, happy Mid-Autumn Festival!”. We make a wish to each other.
我們可以喝一杯果汁。我們站在桌子旁邊,我們說,“幹杯,幹杯,中秋節快樂!”。我們彼此許了個願。
At night, the moon is usually round and bright. It looks like a ball. We can enjoy the moon.
晚上,月亮通常又圓又亮。它看起來像一個球。我們可以欣賞月亮。
Moon cakes are the special food for this festival. We can eat moon cakes.
月餅是這個節日的特殊食品。我們可以吃月餅。
In the Mid-Autumn Festival, my parents and I are all very happy and excited.

Mid-autumn Festival is a popular and important lunar festival celebrated by Chinese people.

I like mid-autumn festival because my families will get together and have a big dinner on that day.

Today is Mid-autumn Day. I have a big meal at home with my parents and relatives.

We had dinner at five thirty in the afternoon. The dinner was very delicious. I was so full.

A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help to make the house clean. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the reunion.

After dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.
晚飯後,人們點亮燈籠,一般是紅色的圓燈籠。孩子們會快樂地玩他們自己的玩具燈籠。
At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can talk to each other, look back on the past and look forward to the future together.
晚上月亮通常又圓又亮。人們可以在賞月的同時吃月餅,這是這個節日的特殊食物。他們可以相互交談,一起回顧過去,展望未來。

The Mid-autumn Day is one of the most important festivals in China. Before the festival, many shops sell mooncakes, round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside.
中秋節是中國最重要的節日之一。節日前,許多商店賣月餅,圓的月餅裡面有肉、蛋、堅果或一些甜的東西。
On the Mid-autumn Day, each family get together and have a big dinner.

In the evening we eat mooncakes and all kinds of fruit, such as apples, pears, grapes and watermelons.
晚上我們吃月餅和各種水果,如蘋果、梨、葡萄和西瓜。
We look up at the sky, and enjoy the big and bright moon. Our grandparents will tell us the story of Chang'e again.

(三)端午
(1)
Dragon Boat Festival is my favourite festival. During the holiday of Dragon Boat Festival, I get together with my family to have a big meal.
端午節是我最喜歡的節日。端午節放假期間,我和我的家人聚在一起吃一頓豐盛的飯。
We ofen eat the zongzi. It tastes very nice. And we see the Dragon Boat Races. I feel excited because the race is bustling with noise and excitement.
我們常常吃粽子。味道很好。我們觀看龍舟比賽。我感到很激動,因為比賽在喧鬧和興奮中進行。
At Dragon Boat Festival, we also drink realgar wine. Some people think drinking realgar wine can protect themselves from illness.
在端午節,我們也喝雄黃酒。有些人認為喝雄黃酒可以保護自己免于生病。
Dragon Boat Festival is interesting and I like it very much.
端午節很有趣,我非常喜歡。

The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. People always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.
端午節,又叫端午節,是在農曆五月初五這一天慶祝的。人們總是吃粽子,看龍舟比賽來慶祝它。
The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes. It is very popular.
端午節最著名的是它的龍舟比賽,尤其是在南方有許多河流和湖泊的地方。它很受歡迎。
The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice, meat and so on. You can eat different kinds of rice dumplings. They are very delicious.
粽子是由糯米、肉等做成的。你可以吃不同種類的粽子。它們非常美味。
And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river.

The festival is best known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern provinces where there are many rivers and lakes.

It is said that the emperor of Chu is a bad king. Qu yuan was a loyal minister. Qu yuan failed to persuade the king and committed suicide by jumping into the river.
據說楚國的皇上是一個昏君。屈原是一個忠誠的大臣。屈原勸說國王失敗,就跳河自殺了。
After Qu yuan jumped into the river, people rowed boats to look for his body, but could not find it. So people put rice dumplings into the river to let the fish, shrimp and crab eat enough, so that they will no longer eat the body of Qu yuan.
屈原跳河後,人們劃船尋找他的屍體,但是沒有找到。于是人們把粽子投進江裡,是為讓魚蝦蟹吃飽了,不再去吃屈原的遺體。
After a long time of evolution, rowing became dragon boat racing, throwing zongzi into the river gradually became eating zongzi.
經過很長時間的演變,劃船變成了賽龍舟,往江裡投粽子漸漸變成了吃粽子。
From then on, people regard this day as the Dragon Boat Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival is for people to eat dumplings, dragon boat racing, drinking realgar Yellow Wine etc.......
從此,人們把這一天作為端午節,人們一到端午節就劃龍舟、吃粽子、喝雄黃酒等......
